CAKE DECORATOR

Medford's largest cakery is looking for a highly skilled cake decorator for a full time position. Must be available Monday through Saturday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Prior retail food service is required. All applicants will be tested on cake decorating skills- you will ice a cake with a frosting/pastry bag- smooth with an icer, put shell borders on, a message and roses. Neatness and speed will be evaluated. Air brush experience is also required. Position includes cake decorating, customer service, phone answering, and order taking in a busy environment. Ability to multi-task is a must. Salary based on experience.

CAKE PRDUCTION

Full time position at Yummykake's cake production facility in Ashland, OR. Must be available Mon- Sat. 8:30am- 5:00pm.

Individual will be responsible for

1) following recipes for making  butter cream frostings and cream based fillings for our full line of cakes

2) torting and filling gourmet cakes

3) icing cakes and finishing with borders with a pastry bag

4) stocking inventory, unloading truck deliveries (must be able to lift 50 lb bags of sugar)

5) taking orders at customer service front counter

Attention to detail and multi-tasking is a must.
